A Sea of Green at OLA

Students at Our Lady of the Lady Angels celebrated St Patrick's Day. Students attended school wearing green mufti.  The day began with a liturgy, led by Year 2 after which we were treated to an Irish dancing performance, performed by our own ‘Irish roses’ - Rose M. and Ruby M. and participating in fun activities and games organised by School Captains and other SRC members. Everyone was asked to bring in a gold coin donation to donate to Project Compassion, from which $630 was raised.

Here are some quotes from our Year one SRC representatives. . .
“ I loved helping the Kindergarten children through the obstacle course.”- Cooper  (1W)
“ I loved showcasing Irish dancing in front of the school for st Patrick's day.”- Ruby (1W)
“I loved wearing green mufti and donating a gold coin for Project Compassion.”- Harry (1B)
