Eoin and Ella sit among the sea of waving hands for #dosomethinggreat Day
Our Lady of the Angels community supported #Dosomethinggreat Day by making it a day of focus to go beyond the normal and do something extra special in some way – for someone or the world in general.
Year 5 teacher, Samantha Pepin, drove the event. “Students were given a paper hand on which to write what they did. These were stuck onto paddle stick and placed into one of our grassed areas. Collectively they made a sea of hands waving in the wind.”
“It was lovely to see this sight knowing that each waving represented an extra act of kindness by members of our community,” said Mrs La Rocca, principal. “We hope this will provide the impetus for raising awareness to ‘wave a hand’ more readily”.

A huge thank you to our amazing P&F and all of our wonderful parent helpers for running this year’s Mother’s Day Stall. Our students absolutely loved the experience of shopping and choosing something special, and the joy on their faces said it all!04 May 2026

Our sporting superstars shine again! We are incredibly proud to congratulate Hamish and Kendrick, who have been selected to represent Parramatta in Rugby Union. Scarlett has earned her place in the girls Parramatta Touch Football team, while Scarlett and Amalia were also selected for the girls Parramatta Football team. A huge shout‑out as well to Braxton, who will represent Parramatta in the boys' football team. We wish all these students the very best as they go on to represent our school and community at the MacKillop trials later this term. Their hard work, talent, and determination continue to make us proud!
