What an amazing turn out for our annual Fathers' Day Breakfast.
Despite the rain, there were over 300 egg and bacon sandwiches for dads alone! Thank you, once again, to the P&F and all the helpers, parents and teachers, for their assistance in our expression of gratitude for all our dads mean to us. Unfortunately, the rain meant we were unable to present the liturgy prepared by Kindergarten.
The following is an extract from our Fathers' Day Liturgy:
"We give thanks for all fathers who accept their role to nurture, love, teach, and lead their children. We remember the many sacrifices fathers make for their children and families and the ways they lift their children to achieve dreams thought beyond reach. God, as the perfect Father of all, bless and sustain all who care for children as you care for us. Amen."

Our Year 5 Faith in Action Team attended the Vinnies Encounter Day at St John Paul II College. Students learned about keeping the “fire of Christ” alive by serving others with a listening heart. They explored the challenges faced by people experiencing hardship and how Vinnies offers a hand‑up to help restore dignity and stability. Our students represented OLA proudly- speaking confidently, sharing our Winter Appeal efforts, and even taking on the Patrician Brothers in a game of handball. Thank you to Mrs Petrocco and Mr Lee for accompanying the group.

On Thursday, we celebrated our Athletics Carnival champions as students were recognised for their achievements, receiving place ribbons, age champion trophies, record‑breaking certificates, and cheering on the House Colour overall winners and Spirit Cup champions. Congratulations to Blue House, our overall Athletics Carnival champions, and to Yellow House, proudly taking home the Spirit Cup for their outstanding enthusiasm and teamwork!
