Year One had a special visit from Cameron Semmens.
Cam Semmens is an Australian poet who visits schools and inspires students to write and perform poetry. Throughout the day we learnt how to write and perform different kinds of poems.
We had so much fun becoming poets and performing our poems to our friends. The most important thing we heave learnt throughout the day was:
Poetry is the best words in the best order.

Year 5 has had a fantastic day at camp today! The flying fox, ropes course, laser tag, and the giant swing kept everyone smiling from ear to ear. They enjoyed yummy food and fun around the campfire tonight. Hopefully everyone gets a good sleep, ready for another great day of adventure tomorrow!

Year 5 headed off on their overnight excursion this morning with big smiles and even bigger excitement. Bags were packed, and the buzz of happy chatter filled the air as they climbed onto the bus. They’re ready for two days of teamwork, challenges, outdoor fun, and making memories together. We hope they have a wonderful time and can’t wait to hear all their stories when they return!

Today we celebrated Teacher’s Aide Appreciation Week, honouring the incredible team who support our teachers and students every single day with a morning tea, special award and card.
