During Term 3, Year 3 have been studying the HSIE unit ‘Who Will Buy’.
Weeks were spent researching and identifying the roles of producers, consumers and the influence of advertisements. At the beginning of September, students walked to Rouse Hill Town Centre in preparation for our Market Day on the following Thursday.
This gave them the opportunity to become the producers of delicious treats and hold their own shop front. It was a complete success, selling out of all products. It was a wonderful way to end our unit, sharing our learning with the whole school.

Year 2 finished the term with a fantastic HSIE excursion to Longneck Lagoon EEC. They learnt about the ways people connect to and care for places, water environments, and each other, using geographical information. It was so much fun!! Thank you to our Year 2 teachers for organising this, and our wonderful parent helpers who joined us and helped on the day!

Today we proudly acknowledged our new Semester 2 SRC members- students chosen by their peers to represent their classes with responsibility and pride. One of the highlights was seeing families join their children on stage as badges were presented. The smiles and pride on every face said it all. Congratulations to our Semester 2 SRC Team!
