4x100m Junior Girls Relay team consisting of Ella, Elise, Seronique and Claudia
A select group of students from Year 3 to Year 6 represented our school at the Zone Athletics Carnival held at Rooty Hill.
All the students displayed great sportsmanship towards other competitors and their own team members. Every child competed extremely well especially against some tough competition but showed great determination and perseverance.
When returning back to the grandstand, the children had big smiles on their faces and were congratulated by those around them for their fantastic effort.
It was wonderful to see so many parents and grandparents come out and support the children on the day. All the children who represented Our Lady of the Angels were commended for wonderful manners and behaviour throughout the day.
Congratulations to all the children on their fantastic achievements. Some of the children walked away from this event beating their previous years achievements. It was wonderful to see so many new children participating the Zone Carnival. We can’t wait to see what you do next year!

Today, on Good Friday, we pause to remember the incredible love and sacrifice shown by Jesus on the cross. This day invites us to slow down, reflect, and hold onto the hope, forgiveness, and faith that Good Friday reminds us of. As we think about the meaning of the cross, may we find a sense of peace and gratitude in our hearts. Wishing our OLA community a blessed and meaningful Good Friday.02 Apr 2026

This week, our K–6 students took part in a beautiful and reverent Holy Week Reflection. Each class helped bring the story of Jesus’ final days to life through prayer, scripture, and quiet reflection. A big thank you to the families who came along and shared this moment with us.
