Marcus, Charlie and Sebastian showing off their wonderful hairstyle for Crazy Hair Day.
Recently students and teachers went crazy with their hair styles and colours to raise money for the Diocesan Works Fund.
During playtime, the SRC students organised a range of fun games and activities for the students to participate in. They had a wonderful time and enjoyed playing dodge-ball, obstacle courses, oz tag, soccer and football shoot-outs.
Lots of people lined up for getting an arrowroot biscuit with some topping on them. All the S.R.C members put a lot of thought and effort into these activities.
Everyone had such crazy and out there hairstyles for the day. Students raise $579 for the DWF. Thank you to all the mums and dads for their support and donations. Congratulations to Mrs Byrne and the SRC team for a great fundraiser and day.

Today, our OLA students joined children all across Australia for Simultaneous Storytime, diving into the joyful adventure of Luna Roo. Our students were completely absorbed, not just in the story, but also in the directed drawing that followed. They loved bringing Luna and her world to life through art, showing just how powerful books can be in inspiring creativity. This was a wonderful celebration of reading, storytelling, and shared learning at OLA!25 May 2026

On Wednesday, OLA will join millions of children across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime- all reading Luna Roo at the same time! This story follows Luna the kangaroo and her friends as they chase their footy dreams across the outback, celebrating teamwork, courage, and having a go. We can’t wait to share this moment of reading, connection, and storytelling with our students. At OLA, we 'Read to Succeed'!
