Marcus, Charlie and Sebastian showing off their wonderful hairstyle for Crazy Hair Day.
Recently students and teachers went crazy with their hair styles and colours to raise money for the Diocesan Works Fund.
During playtime, the SRC students organised a range of fun games and activities for the students to participate in. They had a wonderful time and enjoyed playing dodge-ball, obstacle courses, oz tag, soccer and football shoot-outs.
Lots of people lined up for getting an arrowroot biscuit with some topping on them. All the S.R.C members put a lot of thought and effort into these activities.
Everyone had such crazy and out there hairstyles for the day. Students raise $579 for the DWF. Thank you to all the mums and dads for their support and donations. Congratulations to Mrs Byrne and the SRC team for a great fundraiser and day.

This week our students in Years 3–6 were visited by Local Area Police School Liaison Officer, Senior Constable Ethan West. He spoke with students about safe online behaviour, both at school and at home, and the importance of using technology responsibly. He also explained some of the consequences of inappropriate technology use and provided students with practical strategies to stay safe in the digital world. We thank Senior Constable West for his time and for helping our students make smart, safe choices online!02 Aug 2025

This week at assembly, we celebrated the incredible efforts of all our Stage 3 students who participated in the recent Touch Football Gala Day. - A special shoutout to our Girls Team, who came 1st in their pool, and didn’t have a single try scored against them all day! - Well done also to our Year 6 Boys Team, who also finished 1st in their pool with fantastic teamwork and determination. We’re so proud of the way all our students represented OLA with great sportsmanship, effort, and pride! Thank you again to everyone who attended and assisted on the day!
