Time for a photo with a gorilla.
Recently 84 very excited Kindergarten students and 13 brave parent helpers went to Taronga Zoo as a part of their learning for the unit ‘What’s Alive’.
We had a glorious sunny day that allowed us to explore the zoo to its full capacity. We had clear views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, along with many of the city buildings.
We enjoyed the seal show and the bird show as well as many exciting Zookeeper talks such as the reptiles and the gorillas. We did our best to see everyone’s favourite animals. The Meerkats were certainly a hit!
Another group of students enjoying the zoo.
At the end of the day, we all scrambled back on to the bus for a nice long and restful trip home - with many little angels falling asleep on the way home.
A huge ‘Thank You’ to all of the people who helped out to organise and help the day run smoothly.

Year 6 had a fantastic day at Bungarribee Park for their Ranger Jamie Science excursion today, diving into the world of solids and matter! Through hands-on activities and outdoor challenges, students explored solids, liquids, gases, and non-Newtonian fluids. It was a brilliant way to bring science to life! Thank you to our Year 6 teachers for organising it!21 Oct 2025
