Faith at Work is the theme of the Diocesan Works Fund (DWF) Appeal being held in parishes and Catholic schools during the month of May.
This appeal gives the opportunity to act together as a diocesan family to support ministries and services that no single individual or parish can offer.

In helping to support this appeal, OLA had Pyjama Day in which students and teachers were able to wear their favourite pyjamas to school. It was great to see everyone getting on board with this worthy cause. Everyone would agree that it was a great day to be dressed in our comfy pjs and uggs.

Today at OLA, we gathered for our End of Year Mass, giving thanks for the blessings of 2025 and celebrating our community of faith, fun, and learning. We farewelled our wonderful Year 6 students as they prepare for the next stage of their journey, and expressed gratitude to Miss Whelan and Mr George for their dedication and service as they move on from our school. We also proudly announced our new leadership team for 2026, who will guide us into another year filled with hope, joy, and growth together. Thank you to everyone involved in such a beautiful celebration!

As if our OLA Waterslide Day wasn’t fun enough, we also enjoyed the most delicious soft serve ice creams on the same day! Such a lovely treat from Mr Calabria that made the day even sweeter. Sunshine, slides, and ice cream- what more could we ask for?

On Monday, we had a splash-tacular day! We celebrated our OLA Waterslide Day with endless laughter, squeals of joy, and plenty of sunshine. The kids (and teachers) had an absolute blast zooming down the slides, cooling off, and making memories together!!

Today, we proudly celebrated our students who graduated from the EMU Maths program. These learners have worked hard all year, showing clever thinking and building confidence in using a range of maths strategies. A huge thank you to Mrs Hodgess and Ms Swain for running the programs and guiding our students with such dedication and care. We are so proud of our EMU graduates- what an achievement!

This morning we celebrated a very special group of students at our traditional Student of the Term Assembly (Principal’s Award), followed by a lovely morning tea with Mr Calabria and Mr Cauchi. Each student was chosen by their teachers for their consistent effort, kindness, and positive attitude throughout Term 4. As the final assembly for the year, it was a joy to acknowledge their dedication and achievements- what a wonderful way to finish 2025. We are so proud of them!

Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Hockey, Softball & Touch Football only. Eligibility & Requirements ✅ Trials are for students who can demonstrate: - Above average ability - High level of skill development - Representative playing experience applicable for some sports - Regular competition experience outside of school (preferred) ✅ To be eligible: The 2026 CSPD Primary Sport TEAM Registration Form must be completed.
