100th day of big school for OLA Kinders.
There were hundred of reasons for Kindergarten students at Our Lady of the Angels, Rouse Hill, to be happy last Friday.
They celebrated '100 days of school' by engaging in many different '100' based activities. Some of these were making necklaces from 100 Fruit-loops, painting 'what I will look like when I am 100', skipping, hopping and jumping to 100, making trains of 100 cubes and funky 100 glasses. The grand finale was lining up to make a 100 numeral on the playground.
"The students had lots of fun while learning about '100'. The other teachers and I would especially like to thank the parents who came in to help. It wouldn't have been possible without them," said Kindergarten teacher, Andrew Baker.
School Principal, Mrs La Rocca, added that OLA has professional and dedicated teachers and working in partnership with parents is a highly valued part of the learning culture at our school.

Last night marked the final chapter of our Year 6 students’ primary school journey as we celebrated their Graduation Mass. Together we prayed and gave thanks for the guidance of their parents, OLA staff, and God throughout their seven years at primary school. We also acknowledged the achievements of students who received special awards, before finishing with a touching moment- our Year 6 students forming a guard of honour for their parents. Thank you to the Year 6 teachers, Miss Grima, and all the staff involved in this special celebration. We wish our graduates many more days filled with faith, fun, and learning as they begin their high school adventure.
