Ms Pepin, Kaitlin, Claudia, Maneesha and Mrs Byrne at the Mission Mass
At the beginning of Term 4, we had the opportunity to attend the Diocesan Mission Mass that was held at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Parramatta.
This was a great experience for us because we are part of the Mini Vinnies group that meets every Monday. At Mini Vinnies, we learn all about Mission in our community and internationally. We discuss how we can support others in need and make a difference.
Before the Mass, we had the chance to walk around to different stalls set up by schools in the Parramatta Diocese. Then we had a lovely mass that was very eye opening. We were spoken to by a missionary that helps to educate those less fortunate than us in Cambodia.
This was an incredible event that we were extremely privileged to participate in. It made us think about how we can help others that are less fortunate than ourselves.

Kindergarten and Year 6 shared a very special moment this week. Kindergarten were learning that we are all made in the image of God- each of us unique, with our own similarities and differences, yet equally loved. Year 6 have also been exploring how God gives everyone different gifts, and why those gifts matter in our world. During our buddy visit, each student drew a portrait of their buddy. It was such a beautiful reminder of how our youngest and oldest learners work together.24 May 2026

Our Kindergarten students have been learning all about kindness in Religion this term. They explored what it means to show kindness to others and created their own colourful kindness rocks to remind us that small acts of love can make a big difference. We’re so proud of their gentle hearts and the way they are already living out kindness in our school community.
