Stage 3 Boys Soccer team
Stage 3 boys participated in a Soccer Gala Day at Jamison Park, Penrith.
The boys played 8 games. There were two different teams, a Year 5 team and a Year 6 team. Both teams played exceptionally well and tried their hardest. Most importantly, they all had lots of fun. Thank you to the team managers, Mr Hallal and Mr Sweeney.
A group of enthusiastic girls participated in a Soccer Gala Day at Jamison Park. It was a freezing cold day but we all got through the seven games. The team went amazing winning 3 games, losing 1 and drawing 3 games.
It was tough competition but we carried on and showed great teamwork. At the end of the day we came close to winning but the most important thing is we played our best and had fun!

What a beautiful first day for our Kindergarten children! There were big smiles, a few happy‑sad tears from mums and dads, and even a camera crew capturing the excitement. Our newest OLA family members settled into Kindergarten so well today, exploring their classrooms, meeting new friends, and beginning their OLA journey with confidence and joy. It was a wonderful start to a very special year for them!

How exciting to see our school featured in The Daily Telegraph again today. A lovely story was published about the identical triplets who will also be starting Kindergarten with us this year. Only two more sleeps until we officially welcome our beautiful new Kindergarten students into the OLA family. We can’t wait to see their bright smiles and begin this special journey with them!

Today was our students' first day back, and our school was buzzing again! There were smiles everywhere as our students were reunited with friends, settled in with their new teachers, and explored fresh learning spaces. We’re so excited to see our school featured on page 5 of The Daily Telegraph today! Our teachers have had a fantastic week of professional learning back at school, as we prepare for a wonderful year of growth and connection. Staff have been deepening their practice across English, Mathematics, the new syllabus for HSIE and PDHPE, and student wellbeing, ensuring we are ready to support every learner.
