Students in Years 1 to 4 attended the Windsor Function Centre to participate in the Verse Speaking section of the Hawkesbury Eisteddfod, run by the Hawkesbury City Council.
"We had to get on stage and perform two different styles of poems and competed against many schools. It was very nerve racking experience getting on stage and performing our poems to lots of parents, judges and students"said Eoin in Yr 4.
"Even though it was a challenge, it is a very good experience as we learnt how to present poems using expression to deliver our poems and standing up in front a large group of people," added Charli.
Congratulation to Year 1 for their Highly Commended, Year 2 for 2nd Place, Year 3 for 1 st Place and Year 4 for 4th Place.

Year 6 have been learning about the difference between figurative and abstract art. They created some amazing artworks, showing both real-life images and creative, imaginative designs. Other grades loved visiting the exhibition and were so impressed by the creativity on display. Well done, Year 6!

A big well done to our students who have been elected by their peers to join the Student Representative Council (SRC) this semester. Yesterday we celebrated a very special group of students at our traditional 'Student of the Term' Assembly (Principal's award), followed by a lovely morning tea with Mr Calabria and Mr Cauchi. Each of these students were chosen by their teachers for their consistent effort, kindness, and positive attitude throughout the term. They are quiet achievers, hard workers, and wonderful role models for their peers. It was a joy to acknowledge and celebrate their dedication — we are so proud of them!
