Some of the Year 3 students making fruit kebabs and other treats.
During Term 3, Year 3 have been studying the HSIE unit ‘Who Will Buy’.
Weeks were spent researching and identifying the roles of producers, consumers and the influence of advertisements. At the beginning of September, students walked to Rouse Hill Town Centre in preparation for our Market Day on the following Thursday.
This gave them the opportunity to become the producers of delicious treats and hold their own shop front. It was a complete success, selling out of all products. It was a wonderful way to end our unit, sharing our learning with the whole school.

Dear Parents As communicated earlier via email, all schools in the area were asked to keep children inside. The police have now notified us that all has been resolved and the lockdown has been lifted. Our school and children have returned to normal. We are extremely proud of the students as they followed our practised procedures beautifully.24 Nov 2025
