Year One went on an excursion to Taronga Zoo.
Whilst at the zoo, the students gained a deep knowledge and insight about different living animals and the ways in which their needs are met by adapting to their habitats.
They also learnt a few interesting animal facts. It was truly a day of fun and learning!

Today our OLA students filled the playground with colour, creativity and so much joy as they stepped into the shoes of their favourite book characters. It was a wonderful celebration of our shared love of reading. We also enjoyed one of our favourite traditions- Rug Reading, where students relaxed with their books and soaked up the magic of stories together. And to top it all off, our staff surprised everyone with their own version of “We’re Going on an OLA Koala Hunt”, which had students cheering, laughing and joining in. A huge thank you to all our families for the incredible effort you put into costumes and to everyone who joined us today. Your support makes these events truly special! At OLA, we proudly READ TO SUCCEED.
