4x100m Junior Girls Relay team consisting of Ella, Elise, Seronique and Claudia
A select group of students from Year 3 to Year 6 represented our school at the Zone Athletics Carnival held at Rooty Hill.
All the students displayed great sportsmanship towards other competitors and their own team members. Every child competed extremely well especially against some tough competition but showed great determination and perseverance.
When returning back to the grandstand, the children had big smiles on their faces and were congratulated by those around them for their fantastic effort.
It was wonderful to see so many parents and grandparents come out and support the children on the day. All the children who represented Our Lady of the Angels were commended for wonderful manners and behaviour throughout the day.
Congratulations to all the children on their fantastic achievements. Some of the children walked away from this event beating their previous years achievements. It was wonderful to see so many new children participating the Zone Carnival. We can’t wait to see what you do next year!

Yesterday we celebrated our annual Swimming Carnival, and what a fantastic day it was! Students showed incredible sportsmanship, cheered each other on, and gave their very best in the pool. We were thrilled to see amazing records broken and so many personal bests achieved across the events. Thank you to Mrs Batten for organising such a wonderful day, and to our dedicated teachers, parent helpers, and sports captains who assisted throughout the event. We are also grateful to the many parents who came along to support and cheer on the students!24 Nov 2025

Dear Parents As communicated earlier via email, all schools in the area were asked to keep children inside. The police have now notified us that all has been resolved and the lockdown has been lifted. Our school and children have returned to normal. We are extremely proud of the students as they followed our practised procedures beautifully.
