Students at Our Lady of the Lady Angels celebrated St Patrick's Day.
Students attended school wearing green mufti. The day began with a liturgy, led by Year 2 after which we were treated to an Irish dancing performance, performed by our own ‘Irish roses’ - Rose M. and Ruby M. and participating in fun activities and games organised by School Captains and other SRC members.
Everyone was asked to bring in a gold coin donation to donate to Project Compassion, from which $630 was raised.
Here are some quotes from our Year one SRC representatives:
I loved helping the Kindergarten children through the obstacle course.
Cooper (1W)
I loved showcasing Irish dancing in front of the school for st Patrick's day.
Ruby (1W)
I loved wearing green mufti and donating a gold coin for Project Compassion.

To finish the term, Year 5 designed and made their own animal adaptations, thinking carefully about how different features help animals live in their environments. They proudly shared their creations with Year 1 and Year 6, who were amazed by the detail and imagination!06 Apr 2026

To finish the term, Year 4 took on an exciting Design & Make task: building a floating boat. Students experimented with materials, tested buoyancy, and made adjustments to improve their designs. Lots of teamwork, curiosity, and proud smiles as their creations hit the water!
