This week our Infants classes had a visit from Sarah Davis, an award-winning illustrator. She discussed the process of illustrating a picture book, showing roughs and works in progress, and the basic principles of character design, composition, and constructing a visual narrative. Our students got to illustrate alongside Sarah and will use these as a springboard for writing. A wonderful way to start our Book Week celebrations.
